Ingredients and safety

Every Bla Bli Blu parfum is 25% perfume oil in a denatured alcohol base, with water and the fixatives that hold a composition together. The concentration is what makes it a parfum rather than an eau de toilette, and it is why a little goes further than you expect.

Using it safely

  • For external use on skin only. Do not swallow it and keep it away from your eyes. If it gets in your eyes, rinse with water for several minutes.
  • Alcohol-based fragrance is flammable. Do not spray near an open flame, and do not leave a bottle in a hot car or in direct sun.
  • Spray onto skin, not onto clothing — oils can mark fabric, and some notes stain light colours.
  • Do not apply to broken, irritated or freshly shaved skin.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

If you have sensitive skin

Patch test first. Spray once on the inside of your forearm, leave it 24 hours, and check for redness or itching before you wear it properly. Fragrance in sunlight can also react on skin — if you are wearing a citrus-heavy scent in strong sun, put it on clothing-covered skin instead.

If your skin reacts

Stop using it, wash the area with soap and water, and email hello@blabliblulife.com. We will refund you whatever the date is — a fragrance your skin rejects is not a change of mind and we do not treat it like one.

Reporting a reaction

If a product causes a reaction, tell us at hello@blabliblulife.com with the scent, the batch code from the carton and what happened. We log every report; serious adverse events are reported to the FDA within 15 business days as US law requires, and to the relevant authority in the UK.

Allergen declarations

Fragrance allergens that require declaration are listed on each bottle’s carton, in the form the law in your market requires. If you have a known fragrance allergy and want the declared allergen list for a specific scent before you buy, email us and we will send it from the batch documentation for that scent.

Not tested on animals

We do not test on animals and we do not commission anyone to test on our behalf.
